Cindy Campbell, Communications Director for AARP Massachusetts, and international authority on geriatric medicine and eldercare, Dr. Bill Thomas, will be our guests this Sunday, 7:00 pm, on My Generation. Broadcast live from the 95.9 WATD-FM studios in Marshfield, (also available via the internet at http://959watd.com), Cindy Campbell will give us information about the latest scams targeting seniors, tips for how to recognize them, and actions to take to avoid them.
Dr. Bill Thomas, now barnstorming across the country with his popular Changing Aging Tour, will disrupt our way of thinking about aging. The Wall Street Journal named Thomas amount the 12 most influential Americans shaping aging in the 21st century. U.S. News & World Report describes Thomas as a revolutionary, “With his startling common-sense ideas and his ability to persuade others to take a risk, this creative and wildly exuberant country doctor has become something of a culture changer–reimagining how Americans will approach aging in the 21st century. And with 35 million Americans over 65–a number that will double by 2030–that takes a big imagination indeed.”
In addition to being an author, entrepreneur, musician, teacher and farmer, Dr. Thomas is also the founder of The Eden Alternative, an international non-profit dedicated to creating quality of life for seniors and their care partners.
This week, Thomas wrapped up several tour stops in Massachusetts including Quincy and Foxboro. For much more information please visit his website.
We are thrilled to welcome our guest to the show this Sunday. Please join us!
