As the founder and CEO of Celtic Angels Home Health Care, I’ve been asked what it takes to build an award-winning organization.
My answer is simple: It begins with people.
I’m incredibly grateful that Celtic Angels has been recognized as a Top Workplace for six consecutive years, along with honors for leadership, innovation, work-life flexibility, and purpose and values.
These recognitions mean a great deal to me. But what makes me most proud isn’t the awards themselves. It’s the people who make them possible.
I’ve always believed that leadership isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about listening, learning, surrounding yourself with talented and compassionate people, and creating an environment where everyone feels respected, appreciated, and empowered to do their best work.
In home health care, our mission is deeply personal. Families place their trust in us during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. That responsibility reminds me every day why our work matters.
And it reminds me that the way we care for our employees is just as important as the way we care for our clients.
When people feel valued, they bring their best selves to the work they do. And when that work is rooted in compassion, extraordinary things can happen.
I am continually humbled by the dedication of our caregivers, nurses, and office staff. They are the heart of Celtic Angels, Inc. and every recognition we receive belongs to them.
If I’ve learned anything on this journey, it’s that building a successful company isn’t about seeking recognition. It’s about staying true to your values, leading with kindness, and never losing sight of the people who make your mission possible.
